You meet with your guide at the port. Your guide wait for you with a sign which has your name on it. After you’ve been welcomed your guide take you to Dolmabahce Palace which is one of the most glittering palaces in the world. Dolmabahce palace built by Sultan Abdülmecit I and after that Sultan and the family moved from Topkapi to Dolmabahce. It became administrative center of late Ottoman Empire.You will visit rooms,library and see all fancy furnitures from all over the world Atatürk ( Father of Turks) spent his last days in there.
Your next stop is Galata Tower which is one of the oldest tower in Istanbul. It built by Byzantium in 507 AD. The first man who flew in history, in 17th century, Hezarfen Ahmet Celebi, put wooden wings to his arms and flew from Galata tower to Uskudar (From Europe toAsia).
After Galata tower you will start to walk through Istiklal Street ( Independence Street ). A nostalgic tramway runs from the street. End of the street you will arrive Taksim square. Today Taksim and Istiklal Street are the most important social place in Istanbul.
