If you would like to visit the Terrace Houses (Slope Houses) where the richest Romans lived from 1th to 7th AD. It costs 15$ extra per person includes entrance fees and guiding service. Houses are considered today as a biggest puzzle of the world, and located on the Curetes Street among the ruins of Ephesus.
Your guide will be waiting to meet you at the port. After you’ve been welcomed your guide will take you to the House of the Virgin Mary on the top of the beautiful Solmissos Mountains where it is believed Mary spent her last living days.
After the House of the Virgin Mary you’ll be driven to the Ancient City of Ephesus, where you’ll enjoy a downhill walk with your guide into the ruins of the Roman capital. Your route takes you past the Bouleuterion, Temple of Domitian, Hercules Gate, Temple of Hadrian, The Celsus Library and The Great Theater.
Then, you’ll be driven to The Temple of Artemis (Diana) which is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Your last stop will be Ephesus Archelogical Museum and you will have a chance to see many unique piece belong the Greek, Roman or Byzantine period.
We would like to introduce you to the local cultural aspects of Ephesus by showing handmade carpet & rug Art done through traditional weaving in the Teaching Village and you’ll enjoy many of Ephesus Ceramics as well.
