If you would like to visit the Terrace Houses (Slope Houses) where the richest Romans lived from 1th to 7th AD. It costs 15$ extra per person includes entrance fees and guiding service. Houses are considered today as a biggest puzzle of the world, and located on the Curetes Street among the ruins of Ephesus.
Your guide will be waiting to meet you at the port. After you’ve been welcomed your guide will take you to the Ancient City of Ephesus, where you’ll enjoy a downhill walk with your guide into the ruins of this Roman capital. Your route takes you past the Bouleuterion, Temple of Domitian, Hercules Gate, Temple of Hadrian, The Celsus Library and The Great Theater.
Next you’ll be driven to the village of Şirince just 25 minutes from Ephesus. Şirince is located on the top of the mountain, where you’ll enjoy the impressive wine yard along with the cultural and historical village houses of the area. The Village has synthesis Greek-Turkish culture, where you’ll visit a mosque and a church.
We would like to introduce you to the local cultural aspects of Ephesus by showing handmade carpet & rug Art done through traditional weaving in the Teaching Village and you’ll enjoy many of Ephesus Ceramics as well.
